Hanstead Lodge, a 3300ft² house, is strongly reminiscent of the former Georgian Gate House, originally built in 1925 to serve Hanstead House. The traditional exterior compliments the modern, open plan, minimalist interior. Large sliding doors provide a stunning, panoramic view of the impressive Hanstead Estate. The house design focuses on traditional combinations of materials such as: white render; a parapet wall with a slate mansard roof; white sash windows; stone window and door surrounds; and a stone portico.
